Millshomes is part of the Broadstone Mill family of companies regenerating Reddish to create a new business, living and leisure environment creating a new work, residential and leisure environment in Reddish. Please visit the Broadstone Knowledge Mill website and that of the Broadstone Mill Factory Outlet.This regeneration area has been quaintly re-named the “Cotton Quarter” after the cotton industry that originally made the region very prosperous through the Houldsworth family. Following the decline of the cotton industry, some of the old mills on the Cotton Quarter site were left empty for years, until Millshomes purchased the seven acre site.
Award winning Victoria Mill is the first phase of a 4 – phase £60 million regeneration project and work has now started on the second phase, Elisabeth Mill. All the phases will be completed over the next 3 to 4 years and eventually provide 500 homes along with cafes, bars and restaurants.
